The stuff of legends here in Magaluf, Tom Browns is the ultimate restaurant to keep you well fed without breaking the bank. It’s got all the home comforts you’re missing while you're on holiday, so you can chow down on all of your favourite dishes. Plus some delightful Spanish cuisine, so no matter your taste there will be something for you.

Located at the centre of the beachfront, this venue is the ideal spot for a sit down feast during your holiday in Magaluf. Formally known as Pirates Bar and Grill, this venue is a top pick for a great meal before you hit the strip.
The quality is top notch and the prices won’t leave your wallet hurting. Open from 10 am through to midnight, so you can drop in during the day for a quick lunch or enjoy a few drinks at the bar in the evening.
Our favourite dish at Blackbeard’s is one of the house specialties, the Captain Morgan's baby back ribs, dripping in a spiced rum sauce that will leave you more than satisfied. Once you’ve polished off your meal, order yourself a refreshing dessert cocktail, the Baileys Cream is a delicious mix of vanilla ice cream, kahlua and baileys liqueur.
#3 - Bondi Beach
Bondi Beach is the perfect restaurant for anyone looking for a stylish meal during their holiday in Magaluf. With stunning views of the beach, a classic medeteranian menu and lush cocktails, this is a great venue to get dressed up for and treat yourself with some top quality food.
If you’re planning on having a fine dining experience during your holiday then we can’t recommend Bondi Beach highly enough. The Paella is the best you’ll find on the promenade and the cocktails are picture perfect. Bondi isn’t the cheapest restaurant on the list, but the meals are still great value for money when taking into account the superb quality and generous portion sizes.
Open up until 2.30am, Bondi also offers a wonderful drinking atmosphere, great for getting you in the right mood before your night on the strip.
#4 - Robinson Crusoes
Crusoes is a local favourite here in Magaluf. Open from 10am through to 2am, this restaurant and bar is a great spot for food day or night. We recommend dropping in for an ice cold beer, sipping straight from a frozen glass (a great way to cool down during a hot summer's day!)
The lunch menu is filled with tasty wraps and sandwiches and the night menu is packed with hearty classics. Crusoes is our top pick for a lovely midday lunch, the atmosphere is lively and it’s prime location overlooking Magaluf beach makes it a great place to drop into from a tanning session on the beach. Sit down and take in the beautiful scenery from the vantage point of Crusoes terrace, as day changes to night so does the vibe as this busy beach bar settles into a more relaxed restaurant experience.
#5 - Barbuda Beach Bar and Grill
This restaurant is our wildcard pick. Located in Palma Nova, Barbuda is a short walk from the top of Magaluf’s strip, but the journey is well worth it as the relaxed atmosphere gives you a break from the hustle and bustle of Magaluf’s promenade.
Boasting a classic medditeranian menu, all prepared over an open BBQ. This restaurant overlooks Palma Nova beach, it’s stylish, it’s classy and it serves up some of the best food in the resort. Open from 10am through to midnight, Barbuda is a wonderful change of pace compared to the restaurants located within Magaluf itself. If you’re seeking somewhere with an elegant feel then Barbuda is the restaurant for you, the ideal location for a splash out meal while you’re on holiday here in Magaluf.
Carwash and the Magaluf Club Pass So what is MCP Carwash?
MCP Carwash is one the most popular clubs here in Magaluf, infamous for it’s foam and UV paint parties. If you’re coming to Magaluf for a lads or girls holiday, paying a visit to Carwash is practically mandatory. The foam is known to rise past chest height and it goes without saying that the UV paint parties make for a colourful night of clubbing. The party rages late into the night and you’ll often see soggy yet happy tourists pouring out Carwash throughout the early hours of the morning.
To get yourself involved at one of these unforgettable foam parties, you’ll need to get yourself an MCP (Magaluf Club Pass) ticket. Wondering how MCP works or how you can sort yourself a ticket? Read on to find out how.
Magaluf Club Pass and how it all works:
Magaluf Club Pass, commonly known as MCP, is a group of 5 of the most popular clubs here in Magaluf. It’s a single pass that grants both free entrance and free alcohol to anyone of the MCP brand clubs. These clubs are the most popular along the strip, making the MCP pass a great option for anyone looking to party every night of the week. Not to forget the free alcohol, which means you can go hard all night long without worrying about how much damage you’re doing to your wallet.
When it comes to securing your MCP ticket you have two options:
First option is to grab a single night ticket, which excluding special events comes to around 35 euros for an evening. It might seem a little pricey, but keep in mind that over the course of a big night on the strip, you’ll typically be purchasing 5 drinks at a minimum, which can really add up quickly. Whereas at any of the MCP venues you won't have to worry about buying drinks whatsoever.
Option number two is to get yourself sorted with a week long wristband, this means that you will be able to hit up the MCP clubs each and every night of the week, overall the weekly ticket should save you money compared to getting several one night tickets. The only thing to consider with opting for the week pass is that you are confident you will be spending most of your nights in the clubs, if that sounds good to you then MCP is a great addition to your holiday. However if you’re the type of person to check out the clubs a couple nights and stick to the bars for the rest, then perhaps consider purchasing the individual nightly tickets.
So what are the other clubs on the MCP pass?
MCP Boomerang
If you’re seeking out house and club bangers then Boomerang is the venue for you. With a capacity of over 1000, Boomerang is one of the largest clubs on the strip and it has no problem filling its dance floor to the brim. Often hosting world class acts that draw energetic crowds, Boomerang is a tried and true venue that has been pleasing tourists for years.
MCP Tokio Joes
Tokio Joes is the only MCP venue that is dedicated exclusively to RnB and Hip-hop tracks. This underground club is found right in the middle of the magaluf strip, it’s smoking terrace can be viewed from the street, but the club itself resides down the stairs and out of sight. Once you’ve made your way down those stairs and into the club, you’ll find yourself there until the early hours of the morning as the atmosphere at this Tokio’s makes it hard to pull yourself away.
MCP Bananas
Situated right at the top of the strip, just at the base of torrenova hill is MCP Bananas. This club is arguably the most famous venue in all of Magaluf as it has had it’s doors open to the public for over 20 years. Bananas is the place for all your nineties and naughties club bangers. The vibe inside Bananas is light hearted and fun, and you’re likely to see some of your favourite acts such as Cascada performing live. Certainly one to check out if you’ve got yourself a MCP pass.
Honeys
Honeys is an exotic dance club that also operates as part of the MCP chain of clubs. Yes that's right, Honeys is a strip club and can be entered free of charge for anyone with an MCP pass. Get yourself a drink at the bar and take in the lovely view. The gorgeous women working at Honeys are sure to make you feel more than welcome, but be warned, the entrance and the drinks may be free, but the lap dances are certainly not!
MCP Carwash
It should go without saying that Carwash is included on the MCP pass, but it’s certainly worth saying it twice. Make sure to head on down for the wet and wild paint parties and try not to lose your friends in a sea of foam!

BCM Planet Dance. The one and only SUPER club here in Magaluf. BCM can be seen from miles around, with it’s lighting setup illuminating the sky all night long. Surrounded by smaller bars, BCM stands proudly at the heart of its very own BCM square.
With a max capacity of 5000 people, it goes without saying that BCM is the biggest venue in terms of size. With multiple floors and lots of bars, BCM is the kind of venue you can spend your entire night in. Just below the main floor is the Millenium club, still officially a part of BCM, this is where you can find the X-plosion foam parties, UV paint parties and much more. The on the door fee covers all your drinks for the night, so no worrying about your wallet once you're inside the club.

Typically filled wall to wall, this venue might not be the biggest, but it goes toe to toe with the other clubs on the strip.
Exotic dancers will be performing all night long, making for a great atmosphere. Alex’s RnB gets busy early, making it a great spot to drop into for a few drinks before heading elsewhere for the main event, but many people find themselves staying for the night, as the music and atmosphere makes for a party worth sticking around for.
You can find Alex’s RnB close to the beach, just off from the centre of the strip, making it an ideal place to drop into if you’re heading up the promenade after a beachfront meal. Drinks are reasonably priced and the outside terrace means you get the best of both worlds with this bar and club.
MCP Carwash:
It’s wet, it’s wild and that’s why we love it. Carwash is home to Magaluf’s infamous UV paint and foam parties. If you’re looking to get messy and have a good time, then Carwash has your back. We wouldn’t recommend wearing anything you don’t mind getting ruined; most white t-shirts will come out looking like a tie-dye gone wrong, but that doesn’t matter much when you’re up to your ears in foam.
Also a part of the MCP franchise, so you won’t have to worry about your notes getting soggy when you’re ordering in the drinks. It’s easy to find as it’s right next to Bananas club at the top end of the strip. This might not be a venue you hit up every night of the week, but it’s well worth seeing what all the fuss is about when it comes to these foam filled parties.
Tiger Tiger:
Tiger Tiger is one of the newest bars on the strip, previously known as Revolution bar. This venue might look innocent enough from outside, but when you swing open those doors you are hit with a flood of music and people alike. Located right in the middle of the strip, it’s easy to get to and serves as a great starting point for the rest of your night. Drinks are fairly priced, with cheap hourly free bars so you can really smash down those spirit mixers.
The outdoor terrace is a great space to cool off and chat and when you’re ready for a dance you can just nip inside for the venue for non stop action. You wouldn’t think this bar has the ability to get people dancing the way it does, but you’ll understand why it’s made it onto our list for top clubs in Magaluf as soon as you step foot inside.
MCP Boomerang:
Boomerang. One of the most tried and trusted establishments here in Magaluf. If you’re seeking out House and dance music, then Boomerang is the club you’re looking for. Easy to find as it’s located at the heart of the Magaluf strip. When you make your way down stairs that lead into Boomerang, you know you’re in for a night you won’t soon forget.

Also a part of the MCP club group, Boomerang is frequently home to world class acts, so make sure you check out the lineup before you pay this club a visit.
Tokio Joe’s:
Located right at the centre of the Magaluf strip, Tokio Joe’s is a favourite amongst tourists and workers alike. Playing R&B all night long, Tokio Joe’s is a favourite for people looking to get away from the house beats playing nearly everywhere else. It’s dark underground feel makes you forget you’re even on the strip and the atmosphere will have you losing track of time.
Tokio Joes is also a part of the MCP club group, so make sure to check this venue out if you’ve got yourself the club pass. As the night continues, you’re likely to see loads of workers arrive to party as they clock off their evening shifts. Tokio Joes goes hard and it goes all night long, certainly worth a visit while you’re here in Magaluf.
A season in Magaluf. All things weather:
Magaluf, where sunseekers far and wide come to soak up the rays during their holiday. Sunny Spain is known for its roasting summer weather and of course Magaluf is no exception. However the season is long and with that comes some big weather changes as Majorca transitions from Spring into the height of summer.
Here is a quick look at what you can expect weather wise throughout the holiday season, including what to pack and what mistakes to avoid, so you can enjoy your time abroad (without turning bright pink!)
The early season:
In April and May things are just starting to warm up in Spain. Spring is in full swing and the strip is coming alive as workers and tourists alike descend on Majorca to enjoy the warming weather. Temperatures change a lot during this period, with averages of 19°C in April, warming up to around 23°C in May. It’s mostly a pleasant warmth during the day, with occasional overcast days to give you a break from the sun.
In the evening things cool off, so you might want to consider an outfit that will stop you from being too chilly during your night out. Long sleeves and full length jeans are a common sight on the strip at this time of year, but all of this is set to change as spring gives way to summer.
Summer. Summer. Summer:
It’s not officially summer until the 20th of June, but the hot weather makes its entrance from the start of the month. With average temperatures reaching 27°C, you’ll need to take suncreaming seriously if you want to avoid a brutal sunburn. Nothing can ruin your well earned trip away like hiding inside the hotel, too sore from a day sizzling in the sun.
When July hits is when things really start to peak in Spain. Summer is here and the sun will stick around for a lovely 10+ hours every day. Rainfall is sparse, so you won’t have to worry about unexpected downpours spoiling your day at the beach. Expect 30°C weather almost every day.
August is the hottest month of the year. With temperatures often reaching highs of 35°C. It’s slightly more humid than July, with that comes some extra rainfall, but nothing that should disrupt your time in Magaluf. We recommend checking the forecast for any thunderstorms and pasting yourself with suncream before spending a day in the sun. You’re in Magaluf for a good time, getting heatstroke is not on the agenda.
Throughout the summer the heat will extend into the night, so keep that in mind when you’re packing your evening outfits. What to wear, what to bring? Keep it light, keep it breezy. You might look fresh in your north face jacket in Scotland, but you won’t be feeling so fresh when you're dripping sweat into your cocktail.
Later in the season:
As the season winds down we see more changes in the weather, in September temperatures finally start to fall, lowering to an average of 27°C. It’s a welcome break from the heat, but you can still catch a tan. It’s at this time of year that rainfall increases, so make sure to check the forecast before you plan a day at the beach.
From the 22nd of September it’s officially Autumn, but don’t let that fool you into expecting cold weather just yet, throughout October you’ll still be treated to average highs of 24°C, just make sure to have a jacket on hand for the occasional downpours. Wet weather is common in October, so keep that in mind if you’re still in Magaluf this late in the season.
And that’s your guide to visiting Magaluf during the holiday season. No matter when you come, make sure to pack suncream and don’t forget to bring something weatherproof if you’re here for some of the wetter months. But most importantly, make the most of Spain’s glorious weather while you can!
"What happens is, people panic, they worry, they become fearful and with this, the majority of people will hold back on booking their holidays. Airlines, hotel owners and tour operators see a decline in sales and in a very small time-frame they drop their prices to adapt, and now bookings are on the rise again. Now is the best time to take advantage and book your holidays!"
- George Smith (Hotel Chain Owner - Mallorca)
So.. How will the Coronavirus affect your holiday to sunny Mallorca?
Well, it won't.
"Early UK bookings for Majorca are reportedly up by an average of six percent. In overall terms, 41% of early UK bookings are for the Balearics. This is the highest percentage for the main sun and beach holiday regions." - Majorca Bulletin
Some facts about the Cornonavirus!
Conclusion: Don't worry about your holidays to Magaluf or Mallorca, follow the recommended steps in order to prevent the virus from spreading and if you haven't booked your holiday, now might not be a bad time to check prices!
